Do you tattoo clients from Daytona Beach?

Yes — many of our clients come from Daytona Beach and the surrounding area. We are in Port Orange on South Ridgewood Ave, an easy drive from downtown Daytona, the beachside, and I-95. Learn more for Daytona clients

How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Do you take walk-ins?

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome when availability allows. We also host community walk-in events including Friday the 13th flash tattoo specials — follow @electricsharktattoostudio for dates.

What tattoo styles do you specialize in?

Custom tattoos, neo-traditional color, American traditional, bold line work, miniature tattoos, and finger tattoos. Maia is known for clean lines and saturated neo-trad color; Richard for bold custom artistry.

Who are your tattoo artists?

Electric Shark is owned and run by Richard Detore and Maia Detore — a husband-and-wife team of custom tattoo artists in Port Orange. Guest artist Kirby visits several times a year.

Do you tattoo minors?

No. Clients must be 18 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. We do not tattoo minors, even with a parent present. Full details are in our studio terms.

How does the $100 deposit work?

Our shop minimum is $100. Most bookings start with a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your appointment — on a small tattoo, it may cover the full piece. Larger work: the deposit applies toward your total; balance is due at your session. You can reschedule anytime until the day of your appointment. Pay online on our Book & Pay page, then message us with your receipt.

Can I buy a tattoo gift card?

Yes — start with a $100 deposit, or purchase half day, full day, or custom amount session gifts online. We can email a printable gift card after checkout, or you can book studio time for yourself without one.

Is this a good studio for a first tattoo?

Absolutely. We focus on one-on-one sessions in a calm, professional shop. Artists walk you through design, placement, and aftercare — many first-time clients say they felt comfortable the whole way through.
